yup its just me.

my crazy life

i have had a very crazy life.. when i was 12 my dad was sentenced to 30 yr in prison... my mom moved us up here and went to school.. and things have been crazy since.... i grew up learning about god and i think thats why it has taken me this long to finaly relize that i realy do need him. i lost faith for a while and it took a week in DCYC ( douglas county youth detention center) for me to realy understand the meaning of haveing real faith in god, that hes gonna take care of me.. i guess i didnt ever realy trust god with my life and allways thought that things just worked like they do but i was wrong.. i sat in there upset at the fact that i was there and that it took so long for anybody to get me out.. and then on thursday a guy came with some dounuts for the unit i was in and he shared with us his testimony and said that all we had to do was trust god.. and thats what i had been hearing all week.. god was telling me.. ashley dont worry about anything i got u. and for a while i wasnt listening. so i desided maybe these peolpe are right, what do i have to lose... yea i'm a christian but i sure wasnt a trusting christian. so i desided no matter what i wasnt gonna worry about how long i was gonna be there or where i would be going after i got out... i desided i was gonna let god handle it and i just let it go.. after that the girls that had a beef with me became my friends and we were all cryng, and laughing and sharing things with eachother... we discovered that we had more in common that we thought. and for the moment things started looking up... execpt for the when and wheres about me getting out... so i told a friend that if i started to fret for her to remind me of what i had comitted to do, to let god take care of it... and what do u know he did. i left yeasterday after being there for a week... and came out with friends and faith. my life is still crazy and now im in a foster home but it wont be as hard because i finaly leardned how to give it to god.

This event was a special event for me cause i got to fire the muskit to fire in the battle...... :-D

MY 15th Birthday

yesterday was my birthday and it was a blast!!!!!!Our unit scheduled our camp of instructoin for this weekend ..... we got realy wet but when it was dry we drilled, and marched, and drilled some more......lol.... but the coolest thing is that they taught me how to load and fire the musket.... i fired it three or four times.... and next yr if i want to i can actualy get a musket of my own and go out in a guys uniform and fire inthe battles.... any ways our ride out this morning was very different than the norm, we got up at like four and left for grand island.... and on the way there our tent poles fell off the top of the roof.... then when we got out there we got a downpour... it was fun though cause we went puddle jumping( my cousin mathew and i).... then we would get like a ten minute patch of sun shine.... then more rain.... it was off an on till like noon.... and after that it was just windy.... we were gonna spend the night but the weather was only gonna get worse.... over all it ws a pretty cool day and i was glade to spend it doing something i love! bth.... kudos to uncle dennis for taking casey and i out.... and teaching me how to use the musket!

all the fun stuff!

Okay so i like to talk about the fun stuff i do... so here goes... a small up date on my exiting life
in January i went with my uncle, and brother to the Lincolns birthday, we danced and had a good time. and after that Casey and i went to winter camp and had a blast! (literally)
then in Feb my uncle, Casey and i went to see the Harlem globe trotters live... they even signed our stuff...FUN!
in march Casey and i went to an ice skating party and had allot of fun... we have a ton of fun at our youth group... basketball was great while it lasted.. we just went and saw the lancers vr. Sx. city hockey game, the score being 4 to 3, the lancers won... and now we are getting ready for the reenacting season! ... sooo concludes my short up to date!..lol.

Embarrassing Moments

Have you ever done somthing so stupid that it's just down right hilarious, and every one thinks its so funny its just embarrassing... well I had one of those moments a few nights ago... lol... it was funny and every one who was there thought so to. After a great night of ice skating and hanging out with some of my best friends a few of us went out to ice cream... and then when we were about to leave I did the most stupid thing I'v ever done, and those of you who were there know what I'm talking about... any way I'v learned that life is gonna throw alot of embarassing moments at you and you jus gota take them. So when every one is laughing at me, I'm gonna laugh with because it WAS hilarious...lol.
